We’ve visited Malaysia in 2022 and in 2024, exploring both its bustling west coast and serene east coast. It was a trip that showcased the country’s diverse landscapes and rich cultural tapestry, leaving us with memories we’ll cherish forever.

We started our journey on the west coast, immersing ourselves in the lush tea plantations of Cameron Highlands. The cool mountain air and picturesque scenery were a refreshing escape from the tropical heat. Next, we delved into the vibrant food scene of Penang, where every street corner offered a tantalizing array of flavors. From savory street food to delectable desserts, we indulged in a culinary feast that left us wanting more.

Our west coast exploration culminated on the idyllic island of Langkawi. Days were spent lounging on pristine beaches, swimming in crystal-clear waters, and taking in breathtaking sunsets. It was the perfect place to unwind and recharge before venturing to the east coast.

On the east coast, we discovered an underwater paradise in the Perhentian Islands. Snorkeling amidst vibrant coral reefs and colorful marine life was an experience that left us in awe of nature’s beauty. Afterward, we headed to Kuantan, where we savored local delicacies and experienced the city’s lively atmosphere.

Throughout our journey, Kuala Lumpur served as our welcoming home base. We explored its iconic landmarks, indulged in its diverse culinary scene, and reveled in its vibrant nightlife.
